Rudegal Studios

I founded Rudegal Studios as a platform to support female creatives and provide visibility in a male-dominated industry. The project was informed by research into the challenges faced by women in music, including sexist remarks, underrepresentation, and a lack of supportive spaces.

My response was to design a multi-outcome campaign aimed at both raising awareness and inspiring change. I created posters, animations, a clothing collection, a website, and social media content, all underpinned by a bold and unapologetic visual identity. The designs were developed to feel empowering and inclusive, with strong typography and vibrant colours that reflected the project’s message.

This work combined design and strategy in equal measure. The visual identity needed to speak to young female creatives while also presenting a professional, campaign-led framework that could engage a wider audience. The project demonstrated how design can be used to amplify voices, challenge stereotypes, and create tangible social impact.
